Yosemite & Death Valley
We arrived at Yosemite park. there's a fire on the other side of the park, so we can Hike with no worries. The mountains and the valley were amazing and we immediately start to explore the area by bicycles.
Breathtaking landscapes and beautiful morning reflections on the lake was worth the cold nights. |
We left for our first trek all happy. We chose a difficult one but one that still can be done in one day- Glacier Point. We left early, as far as we are able to do early. so we climbed 1,000M up. the more high we climbed the more amazing the scenery became.
Half way up we met hikers going down....we ware so impressed with their paste and asked how cold they be on the way down already? they smiled and told us there is a bus to the top....
Shocked we continued to the top, comforting ourselves that we are conquering the mountain with our steps.

It was worth every step! Amazing scenery and great sense of transcendence
From Yosemite valley we continued to move toward the mountains and planed to hike the next day around the lake but it was dam cold, so instead we drove Matilda from one amazing view to the other, looking through the windows, avoiding the cold winds. We managed to get to the lake and it was cold as it looks. Lucky for me he his my human heater ..
